|Q||How does the School Communicator access my proxy settings?|
|A||The School Communicator uses the Control Panel on a PC and System Preferences on a Mac to access your proxy settings..
If you are not sure what proxy settings your computer is using, you should be able to find them in which ever browser you are currently using (most likely Mozilla Firefox). If you are on a company network you might need to get the proxy settings from your network administrator.
To change these settings on a PC open the Control Panel. Open Internet Properties and select the Connections tab. Next click on the LAN Settings button at the bottom of that tab. You will now be able to enter your Proxy Server settings.
To change these settings on a Mac open your System Preferences. Open Network preferences and click on the Advanced button. Select the Proxy tab and update your settings.
The School Communicator will automatically use these settings in future.
